Work phases of dental implant placement

First phase: diagnosis and treatment plan

After consultations and checking of the required dental radiographs (RVG, CBCT), we simulate wanted implant position, than based on the received data, go through the treatment plan, with time and financial structure, included.

Throughout the whole process, you will be accompanied by a specially educated person who will take care of all your questions, needs, and will be following your stay with us in Dentorium.

Second phase: implant surgery

Implants are placed, including eventual necessary procedures:

• bone augmentation (Needed in the case of insufficient jaw bone masse. Routine procedure used to rebuild the bone, and restore natural jaw line, providing strong foundation for implant-supported teeth. It can be done by transplanting patient’s bone, or by adding artificial bone. Depending on the case, it is performed before or during the implant surgery)
• sinus lift

Stitches are removed in seven days, while process of osseointegration (bone integration) lasts from three to six months.

Depending on the needed future work, we plan and make the next appointment.

Final phase: definitive teeth

In this phase implants have fully integrated with bone. We take the final impressions, and together with dental lab technicians, decide the definite look of teeth. After trial, teeth are cemented.
