Preventive dentistry for a healthy smile
Prevention is now the dominant trend of a beautiful and healthy smile
Quality dental examination and cleaning of teeth may be your only encounters with the dentist. The importance of it and the consequence of the lack of it is up to you to see.
There are two types of dental hygiene. The one you do at home and the professional performed once every six months.
How does plaque get formed?
Food consumption and life habits have the biggest influende in creation of dental plaque.
If you do not perform regular cleansing, plaque grows and it increases quantity of bacteria in your mouth, and that can be the cause of:
- cavity
- the occurrence of gingivitis (inflammation of the gingiva)
- the occurrence of periodontitis (inflammation of the supporting tissues of the teeth)
- the occurrence of periodontal pockets
- periodontitis (a disease in which there is a general inflammation of the soft tissues and bone structures in the mouth, and eventualy the loss of a large number of teeth)
We recomend that you undergo a professional plaque removal treatment atleast two times a year. All who have undergone this treatment know of the pleasant feeling in the mouth, polished and brighter teeth.
It is equally important to undergo a detailed dental checkup atleast two times a year. Before or after the teeth cleansing.
How do we do it?
We think that education is the most powerfull tool in changing ones lifestyle.
We make sure to contact our patients every six months. Checkup and cleansing of dental plaque are not only preventive, they are a guarantee of our quality of work.
Dental studio Dentorium uses microscope with 4,5 magnification ratio which enables precise detection of even the slightest changes on the enamel in form of cavity.
Most often small lesions get to be ignored, even though they get to be the most ideal to fix on time and prevent further troubles regarding your teeth.
Unfortunately, because of such neglect of small cavities large number of teeth ends in a garbage can.
